Research

Rigorous research using the best academic skills and facilities is essential to any writing project. Whether it is a family history, a corporate biography, or another more specific writing project, our original research uses not only the best internet resources, but also internationally renowned libraries in Oxford and around the UK.

The project for the descendants of the Schwarzschild family took over two years to complete. The work included interviews, archive work, research on the internet, and travel to Zurich to meet members of the original family in their 90s. 

I would like to put on record my family’s and my own appreciation of the work and dedication committed to the writing and publication of our family history book.  At all times Words by Design were professional, helpful and conscientious.  Deadlines were met and the work produced was of the highest standard.  Our whole family are delighted with the finished  product and cannot recommend Words by Design and the services they provide highly enough.
