Mr Sutan Muhammad Amin Nasution (Krueng Raba Nasution)

From the Introduction:

The conferment of national hero title to Mr Amin in November 2020 by President Joko Widodo was long overdue. This was not solely based on his role in the youth movement and Jong Sumatranen Bond that lead to the Youth Pledge Congress of 1928, but also because of his long and dedicated work during most of his life as a selfless national figure before, during and after the birth of the Republic of Indonesia, as also proven during his governorships in North Sumatra and Riau. To me, his family, his friends and many more, he has always been a hero and now he will always be remembered by the nation as one.
